The Fly Creek HV UL2 Solution Dye Bikepack tent delivers Big Agnes’ award-winning ultralight design but with shortened pole segments and optimised storage system for two-wheeled travel.

Crafted for fast-moving cycle tours, everything about the Fly Creek Bikepack has been optimised for two-wheel travel. The technical design delivers a packed weight of just 1.19 kg with a Shortstik Poleset providing a compact pack size. The burly compression sack features daisy-chain webbing for multiple bike-frame attachment configurations.

The Fly Creek Bikepack uses High Volume architecture and shape-holding corner construction for increased usable space in the interior and vestibule. DAC Angle SF Hub keeps things light with a semi-freestanding structure that’s easy to pitch and features room enough for two persons and sleeping pads. The single vestibule offers added storage space while a dry-entry door design keeps the interior of your tent dry as you enter and exit.

The tent pitches inner first with a versatile design that lets the inner stand alone for use in good weather – perfect for stargazing on summer nights. By using the footprint you can pitch the fly without the inner for a minimalist ‘Fast Fly’ camping experience where conditions allow. Please note, footprint is sold separately

The design features Big Agnes’ solution-dyed fabric that improves the quality of the tent fabric to deliver greater UV-resistance while drastically reducing energy consumption and water usage at point of production for a cleaner, greener design. All seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape while both flysheet and floor feature a silicone-treated nylon rip-stop with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating to protect against poor weather.

Also included are the lighter, yet stronger Dirt Dagger UL tent stakes with I-Beam aluminium construction.

What is Solution Dye?

Big Agnes are the first to introduce solution-dyed fabrics to their equipment category. Solution-dyed fabrics have colour pigments added at the initial stage of production rather than being ‘washed-in’ post-production. This creates a far more sustainable and eco-friendly friendly process with the following benefits:
