About the Big Agnes Footprint Blacktail
Big Agnes Footprints give your tent floor a second layer of protection against rough ground and wet conditions.
This tough tarp helps keep groundwater at bay and offers a greater degree of insulation against frost and low temps to give you the edge when camping in colder weather. Footprints also guard your built-in groundsheet against dirt and damage from rocks and other sharp objects.
Each Big Agnes ground cloth is tailored to fit the corresponding model of tent which saves you from carrying any excess material. Please note, the footprint covers the underside of the main living area and not the vestibule area.
A ground cloth also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the inner tent body behind in good weather. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes.
