A classic design in a compact size, the Asgard 7.1 from Nordisk blends the old school charm of a bell tent with a modern technical design.

The Asgard 7.1 forms part of Nordisk’s Legacy range of traditional style polycotton basecamp shelters crafted for group and family camping breaks and glamping weekends with a focus on comfort and not pack weight.

Using a blend of technical polyester-cotton, these shelters help regulate temperature to offer a great indoor climate – particularly on a hot day. Nordisk’s unique treatment helps maintain a comfortable indoor climate while ensuring water resistance. When wet the cotton fibres simply absorb a part of the water and thereby expand, which assists to seal the fabric against rain.

The Asgard 7.1 comes with a flysheet and zip-in floor to create a single wall shelter suitable for sleeping up to 3 persons. The tipi shape uses a central adjustable pole with a second pole framing the doorway for ease of access. The tipi shape is stable in poorer weather with multiple guy points ensuring stability in exposed terrain.

Fantastic summer tents, the Asgard’s cotton construction is complemented with ample ventilation options. Mosquito mesh door and window panels direct airflow and regulate temperature in warmer weather while allowing a beside view.

The spacious design accommodates up to three people with kit with vertical sides fully utilizing ground space. The versatile design means internal cabins can be added for those seeking added comfort and privacy. These separate the floor space allowing 2 people their own private cabin style areas replete with windows. Please note, cabins are sold separately and do not come with the standard Asgard 7.1.
