About the Slingfin Portal Tub Footprint
The Portal Tub Floor from Slingfin gives you an ultralight alternative to your Portal tent body. It’s designed to be used with the Portal 2P fly and poles for a superlight 2-person shelter in non-buggy, moderate weather conditions. Using the Tub Floor in place of the tent body reduces the Portal 2’s trail weight to just under 1kg.
It’s made from the same mould-resistant PE-coated 20D ripstop nylon as the Portal’s floor and features ‘bathtub’ style sidewalls that attach to your tent poles to prevent water from splashing into the tent or running into your sleeping area.
A great alternative for minimalist camping and backpacking trips where low pack-weight is key.
