The Klondike Small gives you the lightest and most compact tipi tent in the Robens Outback Range of traditional polycotton camping shelters.

The Klondike Small is for campers desiring roomier, full-featured basecamp shelters for destination camping in a lighter, more compact package. This tipi-style shelter features a central alloy pole with a lighter A-frame pole system shaping the door for ease of access and rain protection. A zip-in groundsheet offers full protection from wet weather and damp ground and can be rolled back from the door to create a safe area in which to use a stove and/or store wet/muddy kit away from the sleeping area.

Inside there’s room for up to 4-persons with ground mats. Mesh panels in the lower walls and door provide a range of venting options while the roof features a sprung apex vent cowl which can be open/closed by pulling and locking off interior cords. This is the perfect way to ensure fresh air-flow throughout warm and humid weather while keeping out insects.

An elasticated stove-pipe port in the roof lets you add further convenience for colder weather camping. This directs smoke and heat safely away from the shelter with the roll-back floor panel keeping it safely away from tent material. This handy feature gives you a traditional base camp feel and is perfect for larger groups looking for a cooking and heating option. Stove and lighting not included.

Waterproofing is provided by breathable Hydrotex Polycotton. This construction blends cotton with polyester for exceptional climate control to keep you cool in warmer weather with insulating properties on chillier nights. It also gives you a lighter, stronger construction – more tear-resistant and mildew resistant. Polycotton tents work by first absorbing water which expands the cotton fibres filling gaps to prevent moisture from penetrating. The Klondike Small outback tent is wind tested to an impressive 210km/h with multiple guylines to provide stability when pitching in more exposed areas.
