Wechsel Halos 3 – 3-person Tent

The Halos 3 by Wechsel has a low weight and is quick to erect. Thanks to the use of ripstop nylon and the lightweight aluminium poles, this 3-person geodesic tent weighs just 3.33 kg in total. This makes it ideal for rucksack or cycle tours where you immediately feel every kilo you save. The flysheet has been treated with silicone on both sides to make it very robust and tear resistant. The silicone layer also protects the tent against UV radiation to make it extremely durable.
The poles are fed through pole sleeves on the flysheet so the flysheet and the inner tent can be joined together when the tent is erected, a useful feature, especially in poor weather conditions. Only one of the pole sleeves reaches down to the floor. The others are just on the roof and the poles are clipped in, in the lower area, which makes putting up the tent much easier, One of the three intersections of the poles is slightly higher to quickly and effectively drain away rainwater. Another advantage of this special design is the high wind-resistance of the Halos 3. The rear vestibule is created simply by pulling the tent taut with a peg. There is an extra frame arch for the front vestibule.
The inner tent has been designed to have space for three sleeping mats, and there is also room for backpacks at the sides. The two entrances make it easy to stow equipment for easy access to anything you need. Five closable ventilation flaps provide optimal ventilation for the inside of the tent on hot days, and twelve pockets in total keep things tidy and organised.
